I didn’t pick up 'cause the number was unfamiliar and I figured it could be dodgy. As soon as it switched to my voicemail, the call just ended. I looked up the number here and, sure enough, it’s a scam.

I received a rather peculiar call from the number 01604 289016. The chap on the other end introduced himself as James, but I failed to catch his surname. I expressed my concerns to him, hinting that I had a hunch it might be a scam, and mentioned my intention to report the number. Quite unnerving, to say the least!

Hey there... got a call from James Honeywell at Relief Energy. The voice sounded really high tech, like some fancy voice recognition... but it was obvious it was pre-recorded! When I asked something, the message just looped and started over again. Total scam, I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone named James Honeywell using the number 01604289016. He said he could help me cut down 10% on my energy bills. Then he started asking all sorts about my gas setup, double glazing, and even about my loft insulation. It felt a bit dodgy, so I ended the call straight away.

Scam alert! I received a call requesting my personal information, but the moment I inquired about how they obtained my number, they hung up instantly. Quite dodgy, if you ask me! Definitely a con!

I got a call from 01604289016, a bloke claiming to be James Honeywell from some company called Relief Energy. When I mentioned the number was on the Telephone Preference Service, he cut me off straight away. I had to step in and ask him to let me finish what I was saying. After I did, he just said “no problem, goodbye” but sounded pretty rude about it. Feels dodgy to me, probably a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Well played, mate! I didn't take the bait at all! This bloke claimed to be "James Honeywell from Relief Energy" and was digging for personal details. He bombarded me with questions regarding my home situation, but I wasn't having any of it!
