Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, wanted to chat about whether our office phone lines and internet were ready for some updates happening later this year. We’d just completed a full upgrade through BT, so told them everything was fine and they just ended the call. Had a look online for the number afterwards and found it listed on multiple sites as a scam.

I got a call from a really polite woman named Chrystal who said there were some updates about the BT business fibre lines. When I asked her to send an email to my boss, she didn’t know the email address, which seemed a bit off. So I grabbed her number and looked it up online, only to find out it was a scam!

A woman rang our office wanting to have a word with my manager. She didn’t provide any details about the nature of her call; she simply insisted on speaking to someone in management. Quite mysterious, if you ask me!

I recently received a call from a chap with a distinctly East Anglian twang. He mentioned something about Openreach halting the phone lines and was eager to discuss potential alternatives with me. Quite the intriguing conversation, I must say!

JUST THINK ABOUT IT - COULD THIS BE A CON? NORMALLY, THE VOICE ON THE LINE SOUNDS BRITISH, WHICH IS A BIT ODD.

Received a call purporting to be from BT Business, stating they were "ensuring your line is functioning properly and that your broadband meets requirements." Oddly, the line was dreadful, making it rather difficult to grasp what he was saying. The whole exchange was rather peculiar, and then they requested to speak to the business owner. Surely, BT would have this information on hand, so it screamed scam to me. I've forwarded my concerns to BT already.

I received a voicemail from a bloke claiming that our internet was out of action. Press 1 for assistance in getting it sorted. What utter nonsense! Is there anyone who can provide us with a location so we can pay this chap a little visit and ensure he finds himself behind bars for good?
