I've been feeling rough with a sore throat lately. When I picked up and spoke a bit rough, the lady on the line just chuckled and then dropped the call. They've kept ringing back over and over.

Got a caller who totally ignored the TPS register, said they weren’t trying to sell anything, but then sneaked in a pitch about heat pumps. Such scams are really getting out of hand!

i keep getting calls from this number but it just rings like twice and then they hang up right away before i can pick up. it's super irritating.

I blocked the first number they used and thought that was it, but then they rang me back from 01603974823. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the ‘energy advice team’ but it was from a number that's registered with TPS. As far as I know, any supplier registered with the government has to follow strict marketing rules, including checking against TPS before calling. They said you need to be registered with them to get government incentives, which sounds dodgy to me. I couldn’t find any ‘energy advice team’ in my listings either. Feels like a scam, so I’ve blocked the number and would advise others to do the same.

I had a run-in with the Norfolk and Suffolk Energy lot, and I reckon they're scammers. Told them I could see their future and then they just hung up on me. Fingers crossed they’ve taken me off their call list now.

Had a call from someone pretending to be the Norfolk & Suffolk energy folks, saying they had a government-approved list of contacts. Told them exactly where to shove it. Now, their number's blocked on my BT Call Protect.

This bloke claimed he worked for some “Norfolk and Suffolk Advice Team,” but I couldn’t find anything about them online, which wasn’t really shocking. He already knew my name and number, but wouldn’t say how he got it. I’ve been on the TPS for like 30 years, but he seemed clueless about that. He never even told me what he was trying to sell.

I was curious to find out what sort of property it was-whether it might be a listed building or not. Additionally, I was keen to learn how long we've owned the boiler and how they managed to have our name and address on hand.

I got a call from someone asking about the type of property I live in and if it was a listed building. They already had my full name and address, which freaked me out a bit. They also wanted to know how long I'd had my boiler. Quite odd, if you ask me.
