There was heaps of noise in the backround, like a bunch of folks in a call centre chatting with someone else about access on car accidents. Then I heard some swearing before they hung up. I kept saying hello but they must’ve been too busy because all I got was that noise and them yakking with someone else.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from Anglia First, wanting to inspect the soffits and guttering they put up in 2011, which is like 7 years back. I told her I’d asked Anglia First to stop calling me because I’d had loads of calls before, but she said she wasn’t trying to sell anything. Honestly, her attitude was off and I asked why on earth she needed to take photos of my guttering after all this time. Proper odd behaviour. This number has phoned me before, pretty sure it’s the same lady from last year - she hung up when a dog started barking loudly in the background.

They keep ringing me - Anglia First - supposedly a windows 'company' in Norwich. I've told them to take me off their list at least half a dozen times. I was polite but firm again today, but they just don't seem to listen. If they call once more, they’ll be met with some very Anglo-Saxon language! They seem to think it's alright to bother people repeatedly, hoping to snag some customers. Even if they were the only windows firm left, I wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole. They seem to be acting dodgily, and all I can do is warn others about the sort of mob they are.

Just got a call from them, and the line was rubbish - loads of background noise, sounds like some call centre doing multiple calls at once so nobody actually answered. It's annoying and a complete waste of my time. If it’s Anglian Windows, they really need to understand that this kind of pushy calling means I wouldn’t use them even if my life depended on it. Another potential customer gone. Plus, I’m not a customer already, so you really shouldn’t be calling me - it’s against the law in the UK to cold call like this. Take me off your list, please.

I just spoke with Anglian Windows through their online chat and they basically said its one of their numbers. I know an elderly couple who keep gettin annoying calls from that number. They gave me an email to contact so you could get your number taken off their list, but really no one should have to go through that hassle. I even told them it would be way easier just to shut down those phone lines lol.

01603 952417 - Anglia First. About a year back I asked them for a quote to change my guttering. They only seemed interested if I also got the soffits replaced, which I didn’t want. Now they keep calling me, asking if I’ve changed my mind. I’ve told them loads of times that they weren't bothered before, so why keep ringing? They apologise each time, but sure enough, a few weeks later they’re back on the phone. Bloody annoying!

A few years back, we decided to have Anglia First install some new windows for our home. Unfortunately, the inexperienced fitters they sent ended up causing damage to the brickwork, which they never bothered to fix despite multiple attempts. To add insult to injury, they had already claimed the payment before I had a chance to sign off on the work. Just last year, we reached out to them again, this time requesting that they replace the tarnished chrome finish on a few pieces of furniture. They did replace one of the items, but we're still waiting on them to follow through with replacing the other two pieces.

I made a big mistake in the past by allowing one of Debbage & Tubby salesmen into my home. They managed to persuade me to get them to install new windows for me. However, I changed my mind during the 14-day cooling off period. To my surprise, the very next day, the salesman called me and was very rude. This incident happened around 5 years ago, and since then, I hired another company to do the job. Nevertheless, Debbage & Tubby still persistently call me and even come knocking on my door, offering replacement windows and doors. It's quite astonishing that they are unaware that I have recently had all the glazing replaced. I often question their vision or wonder if they have a visual impairment because it's clearly obvious that all the windows are brand new. In summary, these people are pests and are similar in persistence to vampires - once invited in, they just won't leave!

First Anglia, a double glazing company, attempted to deceive me with a claim that the Glass & Glazing Federation financially supported the Green Scheme that offered to buy back windows older than ten years. Although skeptical of the salesperson's claim, I took it upon myself to verify with the GGF. They explicitly denied any involvement or funding for such a scheme. I have a deep resentment towards being lied to and, as a consequence, I politely decline any involvement with companies like Anglia First, First Anglia or even Debbage & Tubby, assuming they are one and the same. Rest assured, I have no intentions of purchasing their products anytime soon!

I often receive unwanted calls from this particular number. Despite requesting multiple times to be removed from their database and informing them that I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), the response I get is always the same - "Oops, sorry, should have checked." Quite frankly, it appears that cold callers simply disregard the importance of the TPS register without facing any consequences.
