I received a rather perplexing call from a person attempting to pitch a phone upgrade to me. They were clearly aware that I’m a customer of O2 and that my contract was nearing its end. I went ahead and shared my interest in a particular upgrade option from O2, but to my surprise, they claimed they couldn’t match it at all and abruptly hung up. It has me wondering if they were genuinely calling from O2 because the offer I mentioned was right off their own website. Quite odd, really!
