Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, offering me an upgrade on my O2 contract with a fancier phone. First, I chatted with a bloke, and when I showed interest, he handed me over to a guy called Aaron to finalise things. I never shared any personal info, but it all felt a bit dodgy. Turns out I was right - no phone ever came, and the contact number they gave me just doesn't work.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 asking if I wanted to upgrade or switch my plan. They didn’t seem to know anything about my phone or current deal though. Definitely felt like a scam, just trying to get me to shift my contract over to them.

Got a call from someone saying she was with 02. She sounded like she was fed up with the job and honestly seemed relieved to speak to someone who didn’t bother her. You could tell she wasn’t happy in that role at all.

yesterday i got a call from a number finishing with 42, turned out to be scammers. the very same number but ending with 43 also called me, definitely best to block it.
