Got no clue who that was. I missed their first ring so I called back but all I got was a bunch of beeps and then it hung up. Feels like a telemarketing call to me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone now.

I didn’t pick up ‘cos the number looked a bit dodgy. Took a look here and, surprise surprise, flagged up as suspicious. Watch out for numbers with repeating or sequential digits - scammers sure don't put much effort in picking them. Even if it shows up as a landline with a proper area, don’t be fooled. Honestly, something needs to be done about this whole mess, but no clue what the solution is yet.

Got a call from some telemarketer trying to find out if I’d had a 'car crash'. When I asked them to remove me from their list, they just ignored me and kept going with their spiel. I eventually just stopped replying and they ended up hanging up after talking to themselves for a bit.

Got a call from this number while I was tied up and didn’t pick up. It rang for around half a minute then stopped. After looking it up, I’m glad I didn’t answer. When I do have a moment, I like to mess with them a bit or tell them they’ve reached the PM’s office, but it doesn’t seem to put them off calling back.

My gran took a call from them earlier today. They started off by saying her full name, like "hello, is that ######?" She said yes, but got a strange feeling and quickly put the phone down. She's on the TPS list and her number’s ex-directory, so how are these lot even getting hold of her details? It’s left her pretty shaken up, wondering what’s gonna happen next. Like other folks have said, why aren’t these calls being flagged up across the country more?

I got a call from these people claiming they found some errors with my internet and that it wasn’t secure. They said if I logged into my bank or shopped online, my data could be at risk. I’m certain that’s rubbish. So, I just ended the call immediately!!!

Picked up and switched to speaker but no words at all. Not even a simple 'hi', just a bunch of background clatter (music on, people shifting stuff, someone talking to another person), then after a couple of seconds they just ended the call.

I picked up this call because the number looked like it was from Norwich, but it was someone saying I’d been in an accident. I told her I hadn’t, and when she asked when it happened, I said again I wasn’t in any accident. She just ended the call after that. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from some scammer wanting details about an accident I supposedly had a couple years back. They were grilling me about my injuries, so I told them I actually died, then they asked how it happened. As soon as they realised I was mucking about, they just hung up.

Got a call today from 01603733987, a man with an Asian accent named Sam claiming he worked for a credit checking firm. He was really worried about my credit score dropping, blaming it on debts I supposedly owe. When i told him i don't owe anything, he said it must be from a credit card. I told him I've never even had one, then he just ended the call. I've reported this to the police.
