Got a call with a dodgy recorded voice telling me that if I or my lawyer didn’t ring a given number, some serious trouble was coming my way. Definitely one of those big HMRC scams going around! Honestly, it’s so obvious it’s fake, I can’t see how anyone would fall for it. Fingers crossed no one gets caught by it though!

Wow, they really didn’t waste any time today! I got this robo-call claiming some June Page from HMRC was desperate to get hold of me and said it was "urgent". Pretty obvious scam to me, so I just cut the call off midway through.

The caller claimed to be from HMRC, but honestly, I’ve been on the phone with them for about half an hour just messing around. One bloke actually confessed it was a scam and joked he’d spend the cash to get back at me, which was pretty funny! Another said their call centre was in Canada yesterday but now it’s moved to Ireland and Norwich - got to give them credit for the hustle, I guess!

Got the exact same voicemail as others here. I rang back using my home phone and answered by a guy with an Asian accent. He wanted my name so I gave it to him. Then he said he’d look up my documents, but after a brief hold, the call just ended. Sounded fishy to me. I’ve blocked the number now!

Just like a lot of others here, I got a robo-call. The message said it was from HMRC and told me to ring back right away. It sounded urgent and said I needed to talk to someone called June Paige. When I rang back, the line seemed to be some kind of VOIP setup, probably a call centre overseas, maybe Bangladesh or somewhere similar. I told them I wasn’t convinced it was legit and ended the call straight away.
