This number rings me up maybe once a month, but since I don’t pick up unfamiliar numbers I can’t really say much. I have seen other people mention the Deaf Children’s Society though, which I have donated to before, so I’m pretty sure they must have my mobile listed somewhere.

I block them each time but they just switch a digit or two and pop up again. When my blocked list gets full I have to clear it and begin all over, which is so frustrating. I even block all international calls as well. Is there really nothing that can be done about this? Anyway, glad I found this site so I can peek their info before blocking straight away.

Got a call from this number just now. Picked up and all I got was a recorded voice saying "goodbye". Blocked it straight away. Saw some comments about the National Deaf Children’s Society, which sounds about right since I used to donate to them, but I usually change which charity I give to each year. Probably one of those calls trying to get me to donate again.

He inquired whether I knew anyone with a sight impairment, and I confirmed that I did. He expressed his regrets but then, curiously, mentioned that he wouldn’t delve into any further details regarding blindness. Out of curiosity, I probed about where he had obtained my number from, and he informed me it was sourced from third-party lists of individuals who have supported charities in the past. When I pressed him further, he assured me that his company had the RNIB's endorsement. I explained that I prefer not to engage with charities over the phone, to which he simply replied, "Alright then, bye," and hung up.
