I got a call from a guy, sounded like he was Asian, claiming to be from BT. He said my internet would be disconnected because apparently, some random people were using it. Wouldn't tell me who my provider actually was, which felt dodgy. I just told him to sling his hook and stop wasting my time. Honestly, these kinds of calls are getting out of hand, and I reckon some of these scammers should just be sent back to where they came from.

I've been getting calls from this number quite a bit but they never bother to leave a voicemail. It's started to get annoying, so I've just gone ahead and blocked them.

The moment i picked up the call, the connection just dropped right away.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he was from BT. He kept telling me my computer was infected and pressured me into letting him access my laptop. He also warned me that if I didn’t sort it out, my internet would be disconnected. When I asked him for some personal info to prove he was legit, none of the details he gave matched mine, even though he claimed he had everything on hand.

I got a call from some dodgy outfit pretending to be BT, saying that 7 people nearby were leeching off my internet. I played along for a bit, then asked how on earth BT could know that when I’m not even with them. After that, I told the bloke to jog on, and I wasn’t exactly polite about it. Definitely a scam.
