didn't answer the call 'cause the number was unfamiliar. decided to look it up on this website to see if it was something important. really pleased i did after reading what others have said here. always worth checking. i once got stung for more than £20 when i returned a call to a number i didn't know. lesson learned. annie.

I picked up the phone and it was some bloke with a foreign accent, so I just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a cold caller. I’ve added the number to my auto block list now.

Not sure whose voice that was, sounded like a woman. I intended to opt out by pressing 2, but ended up not pressing anything and just hung up.

I picked up a call but there was silence on the other end. When I rang back, an automated American voice told me to give my personal info to opt out. Seems like a phishing attempt or the start of some scam. Maybe it’s just some poorly managed phone system though, who knows.
