Got a robocall from someone named Jazelle, they wanted to know if I’d had a car crash. I didn’t say anything and it just cut off. Just another annoying call from one of those dodgy ambulance chasing firms.

I keep getting calls from some firm based in Norwich, and no matter how many times I block one number, they just ring from another. The best thing I've found is to just let it go straight to voicemail - sometimes if they're legit, they'll drop a message. If you can, get a phone that has call blocking features. Also, if you try calling the number back and it doesn’t come up as valid, there’s a good chance it’s a scam. It’s really annoying!

Got a call from 01603173470, a woman hounding me about roofing insulation. She kept using the name of the old owner, not mine, so clearly she’s working off some outdated list. She’s rung up loads, and after the third or fourth time, I just snapped and ended the call. Proper annoying!

Got a call from a woman with a very English accent, asking to speak to Mr (my last name). I told her I’m actually Ms and she just hung up straight away. I tried ringing back but the number didn’t even show up, so they’re clearly faking Norwich numbers to get through. That’s against the law for sure, so these must be dodgy scammers.

I keep receiving calls from someone pushing green energy deals, and it’s becoming quite the bother!

On the 20th of Nov 2019, they phoned asking if we qualified for grants to replace old windows. We told them we weren't interested and ended the call. Then they tried again on the 22nd, but we weren't home so couldn't pick up.

Got a call from a lady saying they wanted to check about environmental upgrades for my home. She asked about the kind of soffits and gutters I had - I told her I had no idea and wasn’t bothered. She just hung up straight away. Whether it’s legit or not, they really shouldn’t be calling me anyway since I’m on the TPS. Best to just be safe and not pick up. If nobody answered these cold calls, genuine or not, they’d probably stop calling in no time.

Got a silent ring on 14/11/19 around 9:17 am, followed by a call from 01258478956 right after. When I picked up at 9:16 am, it went straight to voicemail every time.

Had a woman ring me and just as she started saying ‘is that Mr...’ the call dropped! I’m on a Norwich number myself, so I assumed it was somebody nearby. Then I noticed the digit after 01603 was a ‘1’, which as far as I know isn’t used in regular local numbers. Seems like these scammers can fake a local number to trick you. I picked up the phone but all I could hear was silence and some faint noise in the background, no one said a word before they just ended the call.

I keep getting calls from what sounds like the same woman, think she might be working for some company based in Norwich doing cold calls. They ring me quite often. Honestly, I tell them off proper rude so maybe they’ll think twice before trying again. If you can, block the number straight away. Usually, they just switch to a different number and call again, so be ready to give them a bit of mouth each time!
