Just got a call about my loft insulation supposedly not meeting some government criteria and that I needed an appointment for a survey. Turns out it's a total scam. You can easily check online and see the warnings. They’re not even based anywhere near me. Around here, if a proper company wants to do work, they always send official letters, never just blag you on the phone like this. It’s a joke how they think they can judge loft conditions from a distance like that! Absolute nonsense.

However, Trading Standards has already caught wind of these con artists attempting this ruse in various regions across the UK.
