Over the last few days, I got three calls like this one. They told me my subscription was going to be renewed by itself, then said to press 1 if I wanted to talk to a manager to stop it. I wasn’t convinced at all, so I just hung up straight away.

Got a call with a pre-recorded message saying my free month of Amazon Prime was finishing soon and I'd be charged £39.99 a month after that. Thing is, I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime at all. Didn’t press any buttons cause it smelled fishy, sounded like a scam to me. They never even used my name, so that just confirmed it was dodgy.

Today, I got two calls claiming to be from Amazon Prime, each from separate phone numbers. This makes it the fourth call I've had from different numbers all trying the same trick. These scammers are seriously overdoing it. I’m not even signed up for Amazon Prime and I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service too.
