They rang me claiming to be from BT but the number showed up as a local one. When I told them I wasn't with BT, they quickly switched and said they were from my actual phone company. I asked them which provider it was, but they couldn’t say. Pretty clear it was a scam. I called them out on it and they just cut the call straight away.
