Usually I don’t pick up if it’s a number I don’t know, but I was waiting for a call so I answered. Some foreign-sounding person said I’d qualified for a personal alarm. Honestly, if I ever needed one, I’d definitely look into it properly rather than just trusting some random cold caller.

Got a call from a bloke named Alex, sounded foreign, saying I could get a wrist alarm in case I take a tumble. I told him no thanks, especially since he said I needed to be over 60 to get it, and when I asked how old he thought I was, I said I’m nowhere near that age. Feels a bit dodgy to me, don’t reckon it’s legit.
