Got a call saying they’re from EE, started with "Hi, this is (some clearly made-up English name with a thick Indian accent) from EE, how’s it going today?" I straight up asked, "Is this a scam?" They said "No sir." So I go, "So you’re not actually calling from India, or some place in Calcutta?" Then they just hung up. Bloody scammers, hate it. Honestly, I kind of enjoy these calls - I sling as many swear words as I can, and believe me, I know plenty, then just slam the phone down before they get a word in. Feels good to blow off some steam. Haha!

I’m not really sure what that was about. The connection was rubbish both times when they called. Felt like it could be some kind of scam trying to get me to ring back. I’m definitely not gonna call them, worried I might end up with a big bill or they could get access to stuff on my phone just because I returned the call.

Some bloke rushed over trying to sell me an iPhone 13 for just £30, or a Samsung Ultra for £28 a month, with unlimited calls and 100GB data. He didn’t even know my name, which was a bit suspicious. Then he asked for my bank info. I said I’d better look up his number to check, and when I mentioned it might be dodgy, he hung up straight away. Thought he’d made a sale but no way I’m giving my bank details out over the phone. Seriously, be careful, lads. If something sounds too good, it usually is.
