Got a call sayin it was from Amazon about my Prime subscription renewing. I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer for ages and never got a phone call from them before, always just emails. Thought it sounded dodgy so didn’t pick up. It went straight to answerphone and left a recorded message. Since then, loads of calls from various numbers but nothing said, just silence. Pretty sure it was just a scam, glad I didn’t get caught out.

I got a call on my landline from someone saying they were from Amazon about renewing my Prime membership. I've been a loyal Amazon customer for years and they've never once called me, always just emailed instead. So I knew straight away it was dodgy. I didn’t pick up, and my answer machine ended up recording a message from them later. Since then, I've had loads of silent calls from all sorts of different numbers. Proper glad I ignored them all!
