I got a call from someone asking for me by name, and when I said I wasn’t around, they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number earlier saying they were from BT Openreach. When I asked for my BT ID, they just hung up on me. Needless to say, I’ve added them to my blacklist now.

I got a call from someone who wanted me by my surname and said they were from a place that sounded like "UK Essencho". Then they started asking me to confirm my address and postcode. When I asked them to spell the company's name, they snapped back saying "UK Essencho" again. I told them I wasn’t catching the name properly because the line was really fuzzy and asked again for them to spell it. Suddenly, they just ended the call on me.
