Got a call from a guy claiming to be from an insurance claim department, sounded like a scam to me. He was Indian and definitely trying to con people, best just to block or ignore it.

I had a call at around 8.46 this morning but the person didn’t say who they were, so I just didn’t answer.

I received a rather peculiar call from a gentleman with an Asian accent, claiming to be associated with the UK Government. He went on about refunding me for bank charges that, according to the government, are deemed unlawful. Strangely enough, he was aware of my name and address, which set off alarm bells. He then began requesting further personal details, but I chose to terminate the conversation promptly. Just another dodgy scam, it seems!
