Bit of a nightmare really. Got a call from someone with an asian accent, and when I asked what company they were with, she just admitted it was a boiler room and then dropped the call. Proper dodgy, no info on their scam though.

I got a call from an Asian bloke asking to talk to the owner about some electrical stuff. He said it was about my washing machine, so I asked what brand it was. When he told me, I knew straight away he was wrong. Then he started shouting, repeating the brand name louder. I shouted back, calling him a scammer and saying I’d report him. Suddenly, he got all sorry and apologised, but I just hung up. I’ve already reported the call - definitely a scam.

I've been receiving calls on my landline from 01593 876868, but every time I pick up, there's nothing but silence before the line disconnects. This has been going on since January 2020, and it's become rather tiresome. I'm situated in Cranleigh, Surrey, and I wish they would stop ringing.
