Got a call from some random number telling me my internet was about to get cut off. I pressed 1 out of curiosity and ended up speaking to someone at a call centre. They started going on about issues with my account and said my broadband would be stopped. I decided to hang up and ring TalkTalk straight away. Definitely a scam, be careful!

Had a call from a recorded message saying it was Talktalk and that my service would be cut off if I didn’t press 1. Pretty obvious scam, probably linked to the recent data leak Talktalk had where customer info got hacked. Ignored, blocked, and reported it straight away!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach. They said stuff about emails and dates being downloaded onto my computer, which I hadn’t agreed to. The caller had a really thick Asian accent, so it was hard to follow. I figured it was probably a scam and told them to piss off.
