They kicked off by claiming my Amazon was compromised. I told them I don't even have one, then they switched tactics saying they were calling from Microsoft about a computer issue. Apparently, they’d emailed me, which I saw but made sure not to open or click anything. I ended the call right there.

A few days back, our home phone rang and it was supposedly Amazon. My other half picked up, but once he heard it was an automated voice, he just ended the call straight away. Thankfully, he doesn’t know any of our bank info, so even if he was fooled, he couldn’t give out anything. I told him that Amazon wouldn’t call on a landline like that anyway, so it’s obviously a dodgy scam.
