this morning at about 7.45 got a call from 01592789541. when i picked up there was just silence for a bit, then a guy who sounded indian spoke to me. said he was calling from bt openreach. he was polite and his english was okay, so watch out!

I reckon it was a scammer from some BT call centre. They cut the call pretty fast, but I could hear what sounded like Indian accents and a desk fan whirring quietly behind the noise. Definitely dodgy behaviour, they didn't stay on the line long.

typical call from an indian guy claiming my computer had a virus. couldn’t understand a word he said, his accent was really hard to follow. i kept him on the line for a good few mins before he finally realised i wasn’t falling for it. at least while i had him chatting, he wasn’t bothering anyone else.

I think they said something like btopenware[i#], but it was hard to tell with the way they pronounced it, sounded like an Asian accent. They kept calling me and it was really annoying.

My landline buzzed from an ‘01592’ code number, but I didn’t pick up. Let it go to the answerphone and no message was left. Feels like it’s probably the same scammer behind that 01592789541 call I got before.

I received a voice message that simply stated, "Goodbye." Quite baffling, really!

I got it on my answerphone at first, then another call came through from almost the same number. I’ve gone ahead and blocked both now.
