The thing is, I'm not a BT customer, so I politely informed him of that and wished him well before hanging up. Shortly after, I received two more calls in quick succession, but I decided not to pick up that time.

I received a call from a lady who had an Asian accent, introducing herself as Lydia from Virgin Media. The call came through on a local number starting with 01592, and initially, I thought she was reaching out regarding a medical appointment. However, since we have no dealings with Virgin Media whatsoever, I suspect it was just a scam, so I decided to end the conversation.
