I’m presently employed by this company, and we’ve been brought on board since it’s the sole opportunity available during these challenging times, and I require work to make ends meet. Not everyone here is rude; in fact, my branch has a solid atmosphere as anyone behaving poorly gets dealt with swiftly. It’s important to remember that these individuals are just trying to do what they can to secure a living. So, perhaps we should give them a chance to explain rather than jump to conclusions.

So, I got a call from some company called DM Design out in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and they kept pestering me nonstop. Honestly, I just made up some fake info to mess with them and then blocked their number. From what I’ve heard, their kitchen stuff isn’t great either. Wouldn't recommend dealing with these lot.

I recently dialled the head office of DM DESIGN over in Scotland, and I must say, the woman on the line had an air of arrogance about her that was truly off-putting. It was clear she’s used to handling complaints from people wanting their numbers scrubbed from their telemarketing list. Honestly, it was quite amusing to watch her patience wear thin while I addressed this ridiculous situation! She rattled on about how it was beyond their control because my number had "likely not been cleansed". What a feeble excuse! I made it crystal clear that if they didn’t take action, they might soon find themselves facing another hefty £90,000 fine for this dodgy behaviour. I received a call on the 4th of February 2014 from this number. When I picked up, they abruptly disconnected. I tried calling back using the 1471 service, but all I got was that annoying open line noise-like when the phone hasn't been hung up properly. Then, on the 5th of February, they rang again, this time inquiring if I was considering new windows. I simply decided to hang up without engaging. After that, on the 6th, I got a third call, but they just left it ringing until they hit my answering machine and then promptly terminated the call again. Quite the nuisance, really!

Received a cheeky call from this number at half three on the 22nd of September, 2011. The conversation unfolded something like this...

“Hello, I’m Kieran. I’m calling to…” and then, oh dear, they promptly cut off!

Might be because my number’s registered with the Telephone Preference Service, eh?

I’d love a word with whoever’s in charge of training over there; it’s quite a reflection on the standards, isn’t it?

I received a phone call from this number today, and it turned out to be someone trying to offer me £50 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers if I answered a couple of straightforward questions. I politely declined, yet the caller seemed rather surprised by my response and asked once more. It’s quite the déjà vu since I've had similar calls from these folks previously. I reiterated, more out of courtesy, that I wasn't keen on participating as I had other pressing matters to attend to and, to top it off, their incessant ringing disturbed my wife, who’s trying to catch some sleep after her night shift. Despite my efforts to convey that I wasn’t interested, they keep ringing me back. Honestly, I’d love to get hold of their personal numbers and call them at the crack of dawn when they’re trying to rest!

I just received a call where they inquired about my name before abruptly ending the conversation. Upon dialling 1471 to check the number, I was met with an overseas engaged tone. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on my phone bill and will be notifying BT about this peculiar incident. It gives me the impression of a premium rate scam originating from abroad, masquerading with a Scottish number. The callers ring up from what seemed to be Scotland, ask a rather random question about your name, and then hang up as if it’s all a bit of a joke. I received a telephone call earlier today, and my son picked it up. They correctly mentioned our surname and requested to chat with either me or my husband, yet they were rather evasive about the reason for their call. I had an unexpectedly peculiar encounter with a woman named "Melanie" from a firm calling itself Gregg & Goodwin, who had the gall to ask for me directly. Naturally, I verified who I was. When I quizzed her on how she procured my number, she simply stated it was from a database. Upon pressing further for details on how my number ended up there, she clammed up and abruptly disconnected the call. My attempts to find any information about the number or the company online yielded absolutely nothing, which has led me to suspect this might be some sort of identity theft scam. Just to clarify, my number is unlisted and I’m on the Telephone Preference Service as well. I’ll be lodging complaints with both the TPS and the Information Commissioner's Office.

I received a call at a rather strange hour and, upon picking up, the caller requested to speak to Mrs. Walker, who is certainly not me. Having just relocated to this property and acquired a new phone number, I informed him of the situation and inquired how he had obtained my number. He mentioned something vague about a database.
