Today, 4th March 2020, our company close to Grantham got calls from this number. Every time we answered, there was complete silence. We tried ringing back to see if it was a customer trying to reach us but were told the number isn’t valid. Definitely a number we won't be answering again!

We get calls like this at the office all the time, really annoying and mostly with someone speaking with an Indian accent. They try to sell us a cheaper phone line but when we tell them we're already locked in with BT, they just end the call. Total waste of time.

Got a call from some guy with an Indian accent, proper annoying lot they are. I’m not a fan of those persistent telemarketers. When they asked for the owner, I just told them to drop an email instead. After that, I blocked the number completely and ignored any emails that came through. Hopefully that’ll stop their constant harrassing calls.

Got a call from an Indian bloke wanting to talk to the "owner". Owner of what exactly, I wondered? He claimed he was ringing from XL Telecom in London, though the number he called from looked like it was from Kirkcaldy, Scotland. He tried to sell me line rental for £9.95 a month. When I acted like I might be into it, he quickly added a total package deal including broadband, which I said I didn't require. Then he went back to the £9.95 figure for line rental and threw in free calls as a perk. I told him I wasn't interested and ended the call.

Got a call from a lady with a really thick Indian accent, wanted to talk to the person in charge of the business. I asked who was on the line and she said “it’s Jessica, about your phone service.” I told her no one was free to take the call, just to end it quick. She said alright, goodbye and hung up. I thought cold calls weren’t meant to happen any more, especially since we’re on the TPS list, so it’s odd we still get these calls.

Got a guy on the line, thick accent and all, sounded like one of those sales calls. Pretty sure it was just another time-wasting scam, so I just hung up.
