For the last few weeks, these numbers keep ringing me: 01294375016, 0168279541, 01592615234, and a load more like 01281672809 and 0168945814. I never answer, as I’m suspicious, and have tried blocking as many as TalkTalk lets me, but I’m often out so sometimes miss the chance. I can never tell which was the latest call. I reckon they’re dodgy, so now I just ignore or mess about on the phone if I have time. Better safe than sorry!

Got a call with no one speaking, pretty weird. Honestly, next time they ring, I'll have a laugh with them! Used to work in IT, so I know how to mess about with these sorts of calls.

Got a call pretending to be from Talk Talk. I could tell straight away it was dodgy, so I started moaning about my TV acting up and said Talk Talk had already checked the internet and it was all fine. I went on about how rubbish their service was and demanded to know when I'd get my refund. They just hung up. Seems like they can't handle dealing with anything off their script. This has happened twice in two days. The first time, they said they'd transfer me to another team and then dropped the call. Got sick of getting annoyed, so decided to mess around with them a bit instead.

For the past fortnight, this number has been ringing my home phone incessantly, with a staggering twelve calls made on the very first day! Since I have caller ID and didn't recognise the digits, I chose to ignore the calls.

I received a rather garbled call today from a chap claiming to be with the Telephone Preference Service, discussing those pesky nuisance calls. He mentioned they could help put a stop to them for a small fee. After wishing him all the best, I hung up. Honestly, I cannot fathom why these scams continue to operate unchecked. It's astonishing how blatantly fabricated numbers can still result in silent calls. Is the actual TPS just entirely ineffective?

Got a call from someone pretending to be TalkTalk. Thankfully, I knew what a scam it was and hung up as soon as they mentioned TalkTalk. Then I blocked the number by dialling 14258 and hitting ## - it’s something TalkTalk customers can do, but you might need to call their customer service before that. They’re awesome and will add security stuff to your line without charging you.

I got a call from this bloke pretending to be from some telephone service about stopping 'nasty and unwanted' phone calls. Every time I said he was just another one of those annoying callers, he just went back to his script and repeated himself. After a while, he got annoyed and just hung up on me. This was the second time he rang me today.

This number seems to be incessantly ringing throughout the week, even on Sundays at an unearthly hour of 9:45. It's got two zeroes preceding it, which is a bit odd. I've got an answering machine, but unsurprisingly, they never bother to leave a message. Quite frustrating, to be honest!

I noticed a missed call from this number and I've had enough of these mystery callers since I signed up with TalkTalk. Honestly, they ought to take better care of the mental well-being of their customers! I’m convinced they’re more than capable of tackling this issue, considering they assign the numbers these pesky callers use in the first place. It’s rather disconcerting when you've had to move for your own safety and then dread picking up your phone just in case.

Received a couple of calls from this number yesterday. The chap claimed to be representing TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my computer and asked if I could power it up so he could guide me through a fix. I refused and ended the call. I subsequently alerted TalkTalk about the incident, and they confirmed it was indeed a scam call. They've now blocked the number on my line.

This week, I’ve been pestered by two calls from this number, both claiming to be from Talk Talk regarding my internet connection. Just today, I got another pair of calls that I chose to ignore. The first time I didn’t pick up, they were quick to ring me back. Then, I received yet another call but with an extra zero at the start of the number; when I did answer, they simply disconnected. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I received a call from this number earlier today, and the person on the line claimed to be from Talktalk's technical support. I wasn't having any of it and promptly told them to bugger off. A little while later, the same number rang again, but this time there was an additional zero at the start. I picked up, yet nobody responded. After that, about half an hour later, they tried again but just ended up hanging up on me. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

This number has rung me three times today already. My missus picked up the first two but the caller just hung up straight away. When I answered, some bloke with an Indian/Pakistani accent said he was from TalkTalk’s tech support and claimed my internet had been 'compromised', warning that my service would be cut off in 10-14 days. He said it could be fixed if I let him get into my computer. I told him I’d verify with TalkTalk myself and ended the call. Definitely looks like a scam.

Got two calls off these lot, one yesterday and another today. They tried get me to switch on my computer or whatever. I rang up TalkTalk to check and they said it’s nothing to do with them. Told this guy "Peter" to quit bothering me and wasting both our time, hopefully he stops calling now!

Got loads of calls from these folks saying my router was being used a lot and that over 15 devices were hooked up, claiming someone had hacked it. I did a quick look myself and nothing seemed wrong, so I started asking them some questions. They didn’t even know my name, which immediately made me suspicious it was a scam. I’ve gone ahead and reported them to Action Fraud.

I just finished a phone call with a man, who sounded Indian, claiming to be from TalkTalk. Since I actually work for TalkTalk, I knew right away it was a scam. But he quickly started saying my full name, my address, and threatened to come after me and commit horrible acts. I’ve reported the whole thing to the police. Definitely not the kind of call I was expecting after a long day at work.

They rang me twice today, first at 1.54pm and then again at 2.40pm, but I wasn’t in. Recently, I’ve been getting loads of annoying calls, loads claiming to be from TalkTalk. Looking at what others have said about these calls, it seems like most of them link back to TalkTalk. Surely someone could track this number and do something about it?

Got a call from a guy who said his name was Jason, sounded foreign and claimed to be from TalkTalk. He started with the usual chit-chat about how I was doing. I told him he wasn’t really with TalkTalk, but he kept insisting "Ma'am, I’m calling from TalkTalk." I was a bit confused and said I didn’t get it, then he just hung up on me. Blocked the number straight away. The number started with 01592, which I found out is Kirkcaldy in Fife, Scotland.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, said he was from TalkTalk and wanted to chat to the person who holds the account. I told him if he’s really calling from TalkTalk, he should already know who that is. He then asked, “Ma’am, if you aren’t the account holder, can you pass him on please?” I just told him to piss off. Didn’t get a peep from him after that, so I hung up.

Got two calls from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying I was using loads of internet and they could help me save cash. I rang TalkTalk myself and they told me it was a total scam. The caller even offered to give me an account number to confirm who they were, but TalkTalk said they’d never do that. Definitely a dodgy call.
