Someone rang me saying they were from BT, needed to chat about my internet. I didn’t let it go on long and ended the call pretty quick!!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was part of Visa’s security team. He told me there was a £600 charge on my card for some gambling website in the States. He said if I wanted to cancel it, I just had to press 1 to chat to the security folks. Total scam of course, but I bet it’s the kind of thing that could really scare some folks and make them panic.
