I told them I wasn’t interested, but she kept pushing. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but turns out it might have been a scam. Got a call from some sales lot claiming they had details saying I was entitled to some benefit or whatever - then said I owned my house - wrong on at least 3 things - 1- wasn’t even me they were asking for, 2- I live in council housing, and 3- my scam radar was off the charts - so asked if their phone did the same and just hung up - totally a scam for sure.

I received a peculiar call purporting to be a survey, but when I informed the caller I was at work and unable to chat, she insisted it would only take a moment - just three simple questions. First, she inquired whether I was a homeowner, then the kind of property I resided in, and finally, if anyone aged over 75 lived with me. To top it off, she mentioned that someone would reach out to me in a few days. When I expressed my disinterest, it didn't stop there. I found myself bombarded with another call while I was deep in a meeting. After informing them I couldn’t speak because of my work commitments, they had the audacity to argue, claiming I had requested a callback at four when that was never the case. I firmly told them to cease all communication, and subsequently, I blocked their number.
