I politely informed her that I did not and asked who she was trying to reach. Unfortunately, she responded with quite a bit of rudeness. I received a call from this number around 11:15 this morning. My answering machine caught the voice of a woman who seemed rather insistent, repeatedly mentioning two names associated with my household before abruptly terminating the call. Very peculiar!

A woman rang me up claiming that my mum had won some vouchers for money. When I inquired about the company she represented, she mentioned Lindsay Anderson's Kitchens. Curious, I pressed her on their location, and she replied 'Scotland.' I persisted, asking for a more specific area, and she said 'Fife'. To my astonishment, when I asked for the number from which she was calling, she hadn't a clue! I made it perfectly clear that I recognised this as a scam, firmly instructed her to cease any further calls to my mother, and told her to kindly retreat (or words to that effect!). I got the number by calling 1471.

I've received a staggering 22 calls from this number on my mobile lately, not to mention the four voice messages today, filled with what sounds like foreign voices, all chortling rather than actually speaking!
