6 yearsI got a call on my home phone from a bloke whose accent was hard to make out. He said he was calling about stopping unwanted calls, and somehow he already had my name and address. I felt a bit iffy, but then he asked me to confirm the last four digits of my debit card. That set alarm bells ringing straight away! I told him I had no clue, and he said he’d hang on while I looked it up. I quickly said I’d switched banks, wasn’t interested, and put the phone down.
