Somebody rang pretending to be from my partner’s life insurance company, trying to sell her a reduced monthly premium. What was odd is they didn’t seem to have any info about when her policy began or how much she currently pays each month. After running through their spiel, they then asked for her bank details - sort code and account number - which they should have had already. Usually, firms repeat those details back to you to check, rather than asking for them outright. Definitely felt dodgy, most likely a scam.

Every time I pick up, there's no response on the other end. It's been happening repeatedly.
