I got a call from some dodgy lot claiming to be from TalkTalk, but it was proper noisy in the background like a call centre. I rang TalkTalk myself and they said they never called me. Watch out, these lads are definitely scammers! Might be a good idea to report them to the ICO. Hopefully the authorities will catch them one day, cos what they’re doing is illegal. A mate of mine had a similar ring and when he refused to share his bank info, they somehow deleted all his computer files. He reported it to the police but honestly, they didn’t do much, just like most other places.

Got a call on a bank holiday monday morning but my call blocker stopped them from reaching me.

This number kept ringing me a couple of times but just cut off straight away. I looked it up online and the area code showed a name and address, but I won’t share that here. Just a heads up, it definitely seems like a scam call.

Avoid this number, it’s definitely a scam! They keep claiming to be from the TalkTalk refund team. I got called three times yesterday and once more today by them. All the numbers like 01245354625, 02135751129, and 01590643677 are dodgy and linked to these fake TalkTalk calls. Honestly, TalkTalk needs to do something about these scammers ASAP.
