Got a call from 01588 23519, ended up being a voicemail that sounded proper robotic, and the voice was American. They claimed to be from hmrc, telling me to ring a number (didn't catch the digits fast enough). Said if they didn’t get any word from me or my solicitor, they’d take action. Well, they’re not gettin’ anything from me, that’s for sure.

kept gettin calls from a number claiming to be british telecom sayin my phone would be cut off soon. but it was a fake american voice! i dont even use bt as my service provider so its obviously a scam. really annoying and just a waste of time these calls.

You should ring BT straight away, this is definitely some kind of scam. It’s not a genuine BT call, they’d be able to confirm that for you.
