I got a call from a woman with a strange accent claiming she worked for guaranteed telecom. She kept pushing me to sign up for some nuisance call blocking service and then asked if she could "verify" my card info for the monthly phone charges. I was so caught up trying to make sense of what she was saying that I didn’t realise right away she was fishing for way too much personal information!
