They attempted to pry into my banking details, all while feigning a desire to help me recover costs from a so-called insurance claim linked to a traffic mishap. Fortunately for me, I’ve never been in a crash, which made their intentions glaringly obvious. It’s quite alarming how low some will stoop!

I got a call from some sort of automated voice saying I’d been involved in an accident and was entitled to compensation. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got called five different times by 01588 800010'3 and all of them were just dead silence. One time it just cut off straight away. On the last call, she kept saying hello over and over while I just copied her to see what she'd do.

Got a call from some random number, didn’t recognise it at all. Checked with Call Protect to see if anyone else reported it, but no one else had flagged it yet. Decided to just block the number anyway, don’t want to take any chances.

Got a ring from that number earlier but didn’t answer it. I already figured it was one of those annoying calls claiming I’d been in some accident recently. Didn’t wanna waste my time with those types.

some bloke rang saying there'd been a car accident, but i don't even have a motor. told him maybe he confused me with someone else and asked if he wanted a trip to prison instead. he just ended the call after that.
