this number just called me and it turned out to be my health advisor, which was a bit of a surprise. seems like loads of dodgy groups might be using this same number.

My landline rang and the person on the other end was going on about some issue with my TV, saying I owed money. I just ended the call straight away. Looking back, I wish I asked them what kind of TV they were talking about. Turns out this number’s linked to all sorts of scams. Honestly, the best thing to do is just don’t answer or hang up immediately.

Not sure who called me, I just let it ring out cos I don’t pick up numbers I don’t know. The area code is Argyll and Bute, and I reckon I don’t know anyone from there anyway.

Be really careful with this one - they claimed to be ringing from Newquay, but the area code on the phone showed it was actually Campbeltown in Scotland!

No one picked up when I called back, so I’m guessing it’s probably the same as what others have said here.

As soon as I picked up, the call was ended straight away. I have no idea who they could’ve been, I don’t know anyone in Argyll and Bute or Campbeltown.

Got a call from someone offering to stop all the annoying cold calls for just £2.50 a month. They said they’d post some documents out but never really told me who they were. Seemed dodgy to me, probably a scam.
