I'm receiving numerous calls from this number despite being on the Telephone Preference Service list. It’s quite frustrating!

Once more, I've been receiving calls from this number, and honestly, I’ve had enough of these unsolicited enquiries that should be against the law. It's high time that regulations were tightened to put an end to this nonsense permanently. I've gone ahead and blocked the number for good measure.

I decided not to pick up, as I suspected it could be my mother-in-law! (Just kidding, of course). I looked up the number on this site and appreciated all the feedback from others. That’s another one to steer clear of!

Had a rather heated exchange with a dodgy caller today. Their command of English left a lot to be desired, and when I wouldn’t confirm my identity, they had the audacity to suggest I didn’t even know my own name! Naturally, I pressed them for theirs, and that’s when the call abruptly ended. Clearly, they weren’t prepared for a bit of banter!

01584874586 rang me today, and it's far from the first time, either. I've picked up and greeted them thrice, only to be met with silence each time – the line just goes dead. Honestly, I remember when having a landline actually meant something useful. Now, it's merely a headache!

I picked up the phone and sat there in silence, hoping someone would chime in. They even had the cheek to use my name! I feigned ignorance and claimed I couldn’t hear a word they were saying, plenty of times. Eventually, they snapped and told me to “Get lost.” Funny how they seemed to have no trouble hearing me after that!

Received a call from a woman with a foreign accent earlier; I could barely catch what she was on about. She mentioned wanting to pose three quick questions. I told her I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service to avoid unsolicited calls, and she promptly hung up.

I answered the call only to be greeted by a chap speaking in a foreign tongue, inquiring about my whereabouts. I explained that I was not in and offered to assist. However, he simply hung up on me. To be honest, I wouldn't have even picked up had it not shown a local number from Ludlow, Shropshire. Quite odd, really!

The person on the phone claimed to be associated with UK benefits. The call appeared to be coming from Ludlow in Shropshire.

Had a ring from this number today, so I decided to belt out a tune down the line! Honestly, I’m just so fed up with these callers. Figured if I serenade them, they might just lose interest and stop bothering me. Here's hoping I won’t hear from them again!

I received a rather puzzling phone call from a woman whose English was quite challenging to follow. She claimed to be associated with Benefits UK and wanted me to answer some inquiries. I decided against engaging with her and promptly hung up. It felt very much like a scam to me, especially since she had my complete name but contacted me out of the blue. I’ve flagged it as a potential threat.

I picked up the phone to find someone on the other end asking for a couple of different names, either one would suffice. Quite odd, isn’t it? Shortly after, the line went dead; perhaps it was due to my registration with the Telephone Preference Service. Kudos to TPS if that’s what caused the abrupt end to the call—at least the caller would have incurred some sort of connection charge!

Received a call from someone with an accent that was quite unusual and their grasp of English was lacking clarity. I requested to speak with someone who could communicate in English, as they were struggling to make themselves understood. Then, they abruptly hung up.

I received a call from someone with a foreign accent who requested to verify my name and seemed keen to discuss benefits with me. It raised some red flags, so I decided to hang up. Oddly enough, it showed up as a local number, but when I tried to ring it back, I found that the line was no longer in service. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
