I received a call from someone who alleged they were contacting me from the Microsoft technical support team, wanting to assist with issues I was having with my computer. To cut a long tale short, it turned out the individual was attempting to gain remote access to my machine and urged me to download some dodgy software. Take heed, everyone!

I received a call from someone with a rather dodgy accent who claimed to be representing Microsoft. I quickly interjected with a firm "I don't think so!" and hung up without a second thought!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft. When I dismissed him as nonsense, he abruptly hung up. It felt very much like it could have been a pre-recorded message. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Phillip, who had quite the posh English accent, but honestly, I could hardly grasp what he was on about. He hung up rather abruptly. Since then, I haven't been contacted again, and truth be told, I’m not inclined to pick up if he does - it genuinely gives off a spammy vibe!

Received a couple of unexpected calls from this number today. Definitely seemed dodgy! Since I didn’t recognise it, I thought it best not to pick up. Reading through other folks' experiences, it sounds like they’re dealing with a strong-accented individual peddling some nonsense about malware infecting one’s device. I’ve had a similar encounter before, quite possibly with the same lot!

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be Mark Stevenson, allegedly from Microsoft Windows. He mentioned that they'd detected malware on my computer. However, the chap had a very pronounced foreign accent, which led me to suspect it was a scam, so I ended the conversation rather swiftly.
