I received a dubious call claiming to be from Openreach, stating they would cut off my internet connection. Sounds like a scam to me!

Received a call from this number, but there was nothing but silence on the other end. Quite perplexing, to say the least!

I didn't pick up because the number seemed unfamiliar. So I let it ring through to voicemail, and they just ended the call without bothering to leave a message.

I've received several calls from 01584810815 in the past, but I choose not to pick up. It seems like it's just a scam, and as someone of a more mature age, such things can be rather unsettling.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach, insisting that my broadband was at risk of being cut off. Since I don’t even have any BT services, I merely replied with a casual "that's splendid!" and she promptly terminated the call. I’m absolutely fed up with these sorts of calls!

I just got a call from some foreign lady who pretended to be from BT, threatening that our internet would be switched off within the hour. I told her, "Go ahead, love—it’s not my problem as I’m not even home right now!" She tried to continue with some spiel about how I’d regret it when it happened, but I cut her off and said, "Do what you’ve got to do, but I’m off—cheerio!"

I've received numerous calls from this number, but fortunately, my phone has a call blocker, so they can't get through. I’ve even had as many as five calls in a single day! I truly believe that everyone, particularly the elderly, should be provided with these types of phones. They can really help avoid a lot of unnecessary hassle and frustration.

I received a call today around quarter past one from a woman purporting to be from BT Openreach, using the number 01584 810 815. The conversation was delayed, and considering I’ve had a spate of dodgy calls around that hour lately, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that this might not be genuine.

I would advise steering clear of any interaction with them. A rather effective tactic I’ve found is to blast a whistle down the line; they typically won’t bother reaching out again after that.

Received a call from a woman with a strong accent asking if I was connected to BT Openreach. Went on about my line potentially being disconnected. Classic scam nonsense if you ask me!

I decided to look up the number 01584810815 after receiving a call and it's quite alarming to discover it’s associated with unwanted activities. Being of a certain age, I find such calls rather disconcerting, so I chose not to pick up. I do wonder, though, why isn’t there more done by the government to tackle these bothersome nuisance calls?
