Somebody claiming to be from Nexus called me, saying I’d supposedly had a plumbing and drainage contract with them since 2023 and owed nearly £390. I’ve no idea how I would’ve agreed to that, so I told them straight away it was a scam and hung up. But a few seconds later, they called back, accusing me of being rude and threatening legal action, saying they’d send me paperwork to recover the money and that I should get a lawyer. The number they called from was 02392 828351.
