ABANDONED CALL / SILENT CALL So, these lot rang me twice within an hour. The moment I pick up, they just drop the call, like it’s some kinda missed call deal. Then they phoned again from 01859611845 - same story. Every minute without fail, a message pops up saying "Your call is very important to us. Please remain on the line, we’ll connect you to the next agent." Yet, nowhere do they mention the company’s name or anything at all. Between those messages, it’s dead silent, no ringing or anything. Waited about 5 minutes and got fed up. Total fake call!

I got a call where the person knew my first name and claimed to be from Nationwide, but there was this weird laughter faintly in the back. I just ended the call straight away.
