So, my father received a rather dubious call from these folks earlier today, inquiring whether his life insurance is current, claiming that the government is conducting some sort of review. He didn't hesitate to tell them where to shove it!

I received a call from someone with a distinctive accent who claimed to be from Standard Life. The moment I sensed something was off, I chose to hang up. I’ve since blocked that number, as it seems a bit dodgy considering Standard Life's headquarters are in Aberdeen, not Ludlow. Just a bit suspicious, if you ask me!

I noticed that the number 01584 380106 appeared on my phone labelled as Spam, which is why I chose to ignore it. I’m left in the dark about whether it’s a legitimate call or not. I tend to be quite wary of numbers I don’t recognise. Can’t quite decide if I should return the call to see what they wanted. Any thoughts on this?

I've set this number to be blocked, yet somehow they still found a way to get in touch. It seems like this is some sort of firm looking to gather details regarding unpaid debts. Quite irritating, really!
