2 yearsOn 8th November 2024, this number rang my elderly mum seven times from about half ten in the morning until just after one in the afternoon. They claimed she was owed a £40 refund but kept probing for the expiry date on her debit card. Thankfully she’s sharp enough and kept telling them she couldn’t remember the month, even giving them different ones each time they called. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number so fingers crossed she won’t get any more dodgy calls from them.2 yearsI usually don’t pick up when the caller ID shows a number I don’t recognise. Instead, I look it up on this site first. If there’s nothing sketchy about it, I might ring them back. But even if nothing bad is said, it helps to know who tried calling. Like if it says it’s a window fitter or something - even if legit, I’m not keen on getting calls from them.
