Some bloke called claiming he was from a Home Energy firm, said I’d signed up with them or summat. Sounded dodgy as hell, so I just ended the call straight away.

I’m on a no cold call list and really dislike getting those calls, so when a bloke rang me about something to do with loft insulation (or something like that, I wasn’t too sure), I just said thanks and quickly ended the call because it’s so annoying!

Honestly, don’t believe a word, don’t give them any details, and just hang up straight away. Best to steer clear of these lot completely.

About ten minutes ago I got a call from this number but when I picked up there was silence. I called back and a recorded voice said it was a company dealing with roof windows. They told me if I didn’t want more calls to press 1, which I did. Then the message thanked me and said they’d be in touch again. Yeah, right! Yesterday I had a similar call from 01807250004. When I rang that one, the message said the number didn’t exist. Sounds like the same dodgy scam to me.
