They assert they possess details concerning a road accident I supposedly had a few years back, which is puzzling since I haven’t been involved in any. As someone who investigates fraud, I tend to inquire quite a bit, so here goes: Firstly, where are they located? In Manchester, apparently. Secondly, what’s their contact number? They provided me this one but my caller ID revealed 01895 786863. Strangely, they were unable to furnish any information about the alleged accident they claimed to know about. Curious, isn’t it? So, I rang the number I received, and indeed, it was answered by Ace Alliance Services. Upon asking about their location, they stated they’re on 27 Old Gloucester Street, London. However, when I brought up the Manchester office mention, I was told that they operate from multiple sites across the UK. Then came the question about why the number wasn't one associated with London; their response was that it was a ‘conference call number’ which magically connects to whichever office is free at the time.
