I had a ring from this number earlier today. I thought I'd look it up first instead of answering straight away. Turns out it's a telemarketing firm located in Luton. As with plenty of these types of businesses, they seem to cut costs by hoping you’ll return their call. I’ve now blocked the number through my phone’s settings.

Just got a call like that maybe 10 mins ago. It was one ring then they hung up... I called straight back to ask what it was about and some really irritating woman launched into a long spiel about PPI claims. I told her I didn’t have any claims and asked her nicely not to phone again but she just kept going and going... So rude and just a total waste of time and money. Honestly wish there was a way to stop these annoying people from calling at all! ARGHH!!!

Got a call from this number earlier. It rang once and then cut off straight away. I’m not bothering to ring back, and if you see this number pop up, I’d say don’t bother either. It’s a classic marketing trick to save money - they just let it ring briefly so folks think they missed it and call back. Then the cost of that call is on you, not them. Most people fall for it unless you’re like me and a bit too sceptical. Best to just block it and keep your cash where it belongs!
