had a call from some voice claiming to be bt saying my internet would be disconnected soon if i dont press 1 to talk to them. total nonsense. who actually bites on these scams? got a call earlier too from 0125391125, said it was from blackpool. complete rubbish.

Got a call from a Chinese lady saying my internet was about to get cut off. She asked if I’d been shopping online and when I said no, she just ended the call straight away.

Had a call from someone called Shirley, sounded American, claiming she was ringing on behalf of BT. Problem is, I’m not even a BT customer!

Got a call from someone speaking with a very American accent, saying my internet was about to be disconnected. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to an engineer. Sounded dodgy to me.

So, this lady says "hello, this is Shirley" then starts talking about my internet and says I gotta press 1 to reach a technician. Thing is, I just want to sort out my internet, not chat with a tech guy. She tries to tell me they’ll change my IP address, but hold on, I dont even have a static IP! Feels really fishy to me.

Didn't pick up, but from what others have said, I've had a similar call before from a different number with that same American accent warning me my internet would be shut down if I didn’t do something. Added it to my scam call block list now.
