I just got a call from someone saying they were from British Telecom, telling me there was an issue with my internet speed. While I was chatting with them, I decided to test my connection and found my download was at 650mbps and upload at 40mbps, which seemed spot on. The caller insisted my upload speed was way too slow and offered to fix it. When I pointed out those speeds match what my actual provider gives, they abruptly ended the call.
